It's my window to the world, a tool, a toy, an exhibition. Step in and have a look around. Take things with you when you leave and come again. The contents have no copyright. I don't see information as property and like to share it freely. If you use some of my text or design I would be happy to receive an email.

Design and programming

I used Fireworks, Photoshop and Dreamweaver for the initial design. The main focus was on usability and flexibility. I can now easily add sub categories and sub pages without having to change anything on the design. All pages are generated dynamicly and there are no images used for the navigation menu. Text formatting is done through a central style sheet.

Most of the contents are pulled out of a MySQL database by some clever PHP code. The web server runs Apache on Linux.
